We’ve promised you increased value with IMail Server v11…Now you can see that we are ready to deliver.

Recently PCMag.com did a review of IMail Server v10 and gave us some great feedback! As the Marketing Manager I could not have asked for a better day. That is like getting a big, fat softball pitched nice and slow right over the middle of the plate.  As long as you can swing the bat you will make a nice hit.

About 18 months ago we realized a widening gap in the email server market. If we did not respond quickly then we would be on the wrong side of that gap.  I am thrilled to tell you that we did a couple of things: 1) we listened to our customers; and, 2) we got to work.  We released IMail v10…and like I already said…it was very well received. Then we built upon its success to bring to market IMail Server v11.

Of course we added some features…stuff like mobile sync for Windows devices (don’t worry, Apple iPhone and Blackberry support are coming soon), EDGE anti-spam technology from Commtouch, we re-wrote SMTP to make it more efficient, and we brought back the console administrator for those hard working IT professionals.  We also added Workgroupshare collaboration and Ipswitch Instant Messaging to every version of IMail Server v11.  And, we have created a Security Bundle for IMail Server Premium that lowers your total cost for spam and virus protection.

Lower prices, more features, and still the best support in the industry.  Just like PCMag.com said, “IMail Server is a near-perfect solution for the SMB market.”

Oops…forgot to mention one thing. We are also bringing back IMail Express. That’s right. Ten users, fully featured email server – completely free. Seriously, tell me that we are not bringing you everything with IMail v11?!?

Around the corner… April , may or June?

  2. “Around the corner” means we can all expect something very soon. I would expect a formal announcement early next week.

  3. When will support for the Iphone be ready?

  4. JC…personally I am an iPhone user as well and am ready to see it roll out ASAP. Our dev team is working on it now. Unfortunately, I do not have an ETA – nothing more than a guess at this point. But, keep an eye out on the blog because we will be posting updates as they become available.
