We’ve all been there. What do you do?

Have you ever fixed dinner and it turned out to be a flop? Sometimes ordering a pizza is just what you need to save the day! Someone needs to remind Microsoft of that simple fact. When Windows 7 launches, Microsoft plans to keep selling Vista until at least January 2011. The fact is, Vista started out on the wrong foot. Retailers and consumers alike were extremely unhappy with Vista. In fact, the majority of unhappy users who upgraded their OS to Vista have now downgraded to previous versions of Windows XP.
In similar fashion, it wasn’t that long ago that Ipswitch introduced its Collaboration Suite. Talk about the wrong foot. OUCH! ICS was to Ipswitch Messaging Division what Vista is to Microsoft. What’s the difference? While Microsoft is leaving Vista in the market, Ipswitch took immediate action to return to more reliable technology, pricing and packaging. Ipswitch “ordered a pizza” to save dinner!
What are they really like?
As a Dad, I have learned that if you want to know what another Dad is really like at home…just talk to his kids…they will tell you what he is really like. And, if you want to know what a company is really like you should talk to its customers. Some customers are still upset over the ICS release…to those customers I again offer a genuine apology and extend my most sincere invitation for you to re-evaluate our most current release. But, what I am seeing over and over again is that our customer base is accepting our apology, re-instilling their trust in us as their messaging solutions provider, and then expressing their unsolicited thoughts. These are truly exciting times to be part of such a great IMail Server team. And that fact is reflected in Mr. Smith and Mr. Mohan’s comments:
“Just want to drop you a line to let you know that I have worked with your product since 2000. This new v11, is quite impressive. I really like the painless install. Nothing like my Exchange upgrades. A lot of old tools and many new ones are in place that make it stand out as a superior product. I really like the “set it and forget it” capabilities. It just runs!” (Jim Smith, 2009)
“Dear Ipswitch Team,
We thank you for the great technical support extended to us for IMail Server. It is this superb quality of Ipswitch Tech support, which takes their products to the ultimate industry standards and customer satisfaction. This level of support compels us to renew our product support year after year. Keep up the good work!“ (M. Mohan, 2009)
